for our common values, for peace and human rights. "We are here to ring
the bell of peace".
UNESCO Director-General stressed the responsibility of all to defend human dignity by promoting quality education for all, building bridges of dialogue for respect and tolerance.
The debate that followed focused on the importance of communication in a world of information overflow, and the need for deeper and stronger dialogue on the basis of a common humanity.
Ms. Lakshmi Puri made a powerful case for gender equality as a breakthrough strategy for sustainable peace.
Eliminate all forms discrimination against Women and Youth.
Mr Jeffrey Sachs reminded all of the importance of conditions that can lead to conflict.
Unpaid job cause poverty for Family.
We need to develop a consciousness that rejects violence and favors the peaceful resolution of disputes.
Without such dialogue, societies which are being undermined by multiple global crises affecting the economy, the environment, food and energy.
Young generation want Peace and Stability.
