A colourful AUGP convocation was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Sunday 16th January attended by a large number of students from many parts of the country with Guests of Honour and Special Invitees adding colour to the event. The Chief Guest was Madam Shiranthi Rajapaksa the beloved wife of the Prime Minister Hon Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Students who completed the degree Programs  were awarded the degree. Many others received their certificates for completing Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas and Associate degrees in Cosmetology, Reflexology   Integrative Medicines, etc.

The event was chaired by Prof.Dr.Lakshman Madurasinghe The Senior International Governor and

Chairman AUGP USA - Sri Lanka  Chapter , assisted by  Directors (Dr. Deshamanya Dr. Rangana Hettiarchchi , Dr.Nimali Adikari ,etc. ) and Faculty Members. 

His Eminence Prof.Dr.Madhu Krishan Chairman AUGP USA  & UNUGP USA  and Prof.Dr.Aspasia Peppa from Greece who is the Head of the Faculty of Cosmetology had sent Video messages.

Two new Professors: Prof. Erantha De Mel and Prof. Jeewaka Premaraja were also inducted at the Convocation.

Many special awards, product presentations and dance items kept the audience engaged and cheerful while graduates eagerly moved for individual and group photographs in memory of their great day which ended with delicious refreshments and a time of fellowship.
